The PADI Scuba Diver course is a subset of the Open Water Diver course. PADI Scuba Divers are trained to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Divemaster, Assistant Instructor or Instructor to a maximum depth of 12 meters/40 feet. PADI Scuba Divers have more theoretical background and better developed water skills than Discover Scuba® Diving participants, however, they are not qualified for independent diving.

PADI® Open Water Diver is the first scuba certification level. A highly-trained PADI Instructor will teach you how to scuba dive in a relaxed, supportive learning environment.By the end of the course, you'll have the skills and knowledge to dive at home or abroad and be an ambassador for the underwater world.Learn about scuba diving principles and terminology (either offline or online), then learn basic scuba skills in a pool (or pool-like environment) with a highly trained PADI Instructor. When you're ready, make four dives in an open water environment (the ocean, a lake) with your instructor supporting you every step of the way.

The Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about advancing your skills. You'll practice navigation and buoyancy, try deep diving and make three specialty dives of your choosing (it's like a specialty sampler platter). For every specialty dive you complete, you can earn credit toward PADI® specialty certifications.Here are a few of the many options: Deep, Digital Underwater Photography, Dive against Debris, Dry Suit, Enriched Air Nitrox, Fish Identification, Night, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search & Recovery, Underwater Naturalist, Underwater Navigation, and Wreck Diver.

The PADI® Rescue Diver course will change the way you dive – in the best possible way. Learn to identify and fix minor issues before they become big problems, gain a lot of confidence and have serious fun along the way.Learn how to think like a rescue diver through home study and skill practice with an instructor. All PADI courses are flexible and performance-based. You'll practice basic rescue skills and then show you can effectively apply them in open water.
Emergency First Response® primary and secondary care training teaches you what to do in the critical moments between when a life-threatening emergency occurs and when emergency medical services arrive.Learn how to perform CPR, provide first aid that eases pain, assess a variety of injuries and illnesses and practice bandaging and splinting.
Enriched air, also known as nitrox or EANx, contains less nitrogen than regular air. Breathing less nitrogen means you can enjoy longer dives and shorter surface intervals. No wonder Enriched Air Diver is the most popular PADI® specialty.After finishing your independent study, you'll learn how to analyze a tank, fill out an enriched air log, and set your dive computer for nitrox. There are two optional dives.

During the PADI® Deep Diver course, you'll learn how to plan deep dives, manage your gas supply and how to identify and manage narcosis.You'll learn about buddy contact procedures, safety considerations and buoyancy control at depth.When you dive below 18 meters/60 feet, there are special safety considerations. If you're ready to expand your boundaries, a PADI Instructor will help you gain the skills and confidence to explore to a maximum depth of 40 meters/130 feet.
PADI Adventure Diver (or qualifying certification)

Whether purpose-sunk as an artificial reef for scuba divers or lost as the result of an accident, wrecks are fascinating windows to the past. Ships, airplanes, and even cars are fascinating to explore and usually teem with aquatic life. Each wreck dive offers a chance for discovery, potentially unlocking a mystery or spying on something others have missed. The PADI Wreck Diver Specialty course is popular because it offers rewarding adventures while observing responsible wreck diving practices.If you're at least 15 years old and have earned a PADI Adventure Diver certification or higher, you can enroll in the Wreck Diver Specialty course.

Discover the balance and efficiency of sidemount scuba diving with your PADI dive instructor. Many divers find sidemount tanks are more comfortable and easier to put on in the water. Sidemount diving is also beneficial for divers who want improved balance and prolonged dives.

Duration: 2 days – 1 confined water + 3 dives

Excellent buoyancy control is what defines skilled scuba divers. You've seen them underwater. They glide effortlessly, use less air and ascend, descend or hover almost as if by thought. They more easily observe aquatic life without disturbing their surroundings. You can achieve this, too. The PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course improves the buoyancy skills you learned as a new diver and elevates them to the next level.PADI (Junior) Open Water Divers or higher, who are at least 10 years old, are eligible to take the Peak Performance Buoyancy course

The Instructor Development Course (IDC) is made up of two parts - the Assistant Instructor (AI) course and the Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) program. Most dive professionals complete the entire IDC and go on to attend an Instructor Examination (IE), which is the final step to earn a PADI Instructor certification.Successfully completing just the AI course results in a PADI Assistant Instructor qualification. When an AI is ready to progress, attending an OWSI program allows entry into an IE to earn a full PADI Instructor rating.Dive professionals who hold an instructor rating with another diver training organization may be eligible to enroll directly in the OWSI program. This recognizes prior instructor training and provides a path to become a PADI Instructor.A PADI Divemaster who has been a certified diver for six months may enroll in the PADI Instructor Development Course. You also need:At least 60 logged dives and 100 dives to attend an IE.

This short experience is designed to introduce divers to basic technical diving skills and procedures in a confined water setting. Discover Tec may credit toward the Tec Basics and Tec 40 Diver courses.To try Discover Technical Diving, you must meet these qualifications:• PADI Open Water Diver• Minimum of 10 logged dives• 15 years old
Duration: 1 day - 1 dive
The PADI Tec 40 course is where you transition from recreational diving to technical diving. It's a natural progression from Tec Basics, or it can be your first tec diver course. It is the bridge between no stop diving and technical decompression diving. You will gain experience and begin building the knowledge and skills you need to continue your tec diver training. You will qualify to make limited decompression dives to 40 metres/130 feet and use up to 50 percent oxygen as a decompression gas.To enroll in the Tec 40 course, you must meet these qualifications:• PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, and PADI Rescue Diver recommended• PADI Enriched Air Diver• PADI Deep Diver or proof of 10 dives to 30 metres/100 feet or deeper• 30 logged dives• 18 years old

This is a course where you rise to the challenge and commit to becoming a technical diver. The PADI Tec 45 course extends your depth limit to 45 metres/150 feet. You will learn to plan and execute single and repetitive decompression dives using a single decompression cylinder with up to 100 percent oxygen. You will use double cylinders, which can be either back mount or sidemount diving configuration. Tec 45 is a prerequisite to Tec 50. There is also an option for divers to earn a Tec 45 Trimix Diver certification.To enroll in the Tec 45 course, you must meet these qualifications:• PADI Tec 40 Diver • PADI Rescue Diver* • Minimum of 50 logged dives, with at least 10 dives deeper than 30 meters/100 feet• 18 years old
